The local charities, clubs and good causes we support

Hathern Brass Band – every year we offer our facilities at Christmas to Hathern Youth Brass for a Band for our annual “Carols and Brass” concert to enable the band to buy new equipment for underprivileged musicians. Come and join us on the last weekend before Christmas.

Quorn Juniors Football Teams – we allow them to use our facilities free of charge for their meetings – and have done so for well over a decade.

Woodhouse Imps Football team – We have sponsored, and fed them after games, this local club (two teams) for 15 years now and will continue to do so.

Rainbows – Since we opened in 2005 we have always supported Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. Since the pandemic it has been increasingly difficult for charities to raise finances. Our customers can buy invisible Rainbow Chips off all our menus for £3. For each one sold we add £1. Please keep buying them. 

RNLI – We sell Burts Crisps that support the RNLI In addition to that we donate 20p of each pint, including 2 halves to make a pint) of Korev Cornish Lager that we sell to the RNLI. We buy our fish and Seafood products from Direct Seafood of Colchester and Car y Mor of Pembrokeshire. They go to sea for our plates. So we feel it appropriate to support them. Drink Korev and save lives at sea!!!!

HeartWize – Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd of September Community Defibrillator, lifesaving and first aid course in the Pavilion.
