Green Initiative & Reducing our impact on the environment

In 2023 we gained The Green Initiative Accreditation

We are proud of our sustainability efforts so far but believe that sustainability is a constantly improving desire to not only encourage our team but our near and far environment to become more sustainable and protect the environment around us. We recycle as much as we can and try and source our products locally and from businesses who have a robust sustainability statement themselves.

For instance, we now only use My Oceans plastic free toilet paper, as they support the Marine Conservation Society and are sustainably made in the UK.

We now have a kitchen garden that is maintained by our chefs and our local gardener Mark Munro.

We are currently in the early stages of planning, applying for permission sourcing a green loan to add a 100kw solar panel installation at the most Northerly part of our site. We are working with a Loughborough-based installer and hope to be able to reduce our need for external electricity consumption by 60%.
